For Educators
Specific support for teachers and school leaders
Teachers are not struggling because they lack commitment. Australian educators experience stress, anxiety and burnout at rates significantly higher than the working population average, and the causes are biological as much as they are structural. A 2025 Deakin University study of 877 government school teachers found that around 40% report low wellbeing and 37% show burnout symptoms.
The science that keeps night shift workers healthy is the same science that can keep teachers from burning out, and that is exactly what this program delivers.
Teaching Without Burning Out program
FOR EDUCATORS
What this is: Five hours of TQI-accredited professional learning for your whole staff, built around the biology of sustainable performance. Three modules move from understanding how cumulative load and circadian disruption affect energy and classroom presence, through to practical daily habits and decisions that make a real difference, and finally to the collective norms and school practices that protect your team's capacity over the long term. Delivered in person or online, in a single day or across multiple sessions to suit your school's calendar.
Who this is for: Any school that wants to invest in its staff properly, not as a compliance exercise but as a genuine commitment to the people who make everything else possible. TQI accreditation makes it a straightforward professional learning decision for ACT educators. Schools outside the ACT are most welcome.
Pricing for face-to-face workshops:
$2,200 (GST incl.) for up to 50 staff
$3,300 (GST incl.) for groups over 50. An additional facilitator helps ensure your quality experience.

One small change improved the heart health of firefighters
Shift work significantly elevates the risk of cardiovascular disease, and firefighters, whose work combines extreme physical exertion with irregular hours, carry that risk acutely. Most fatigue management programs focus on operational safety, but this one focused on health.
How a nurse struggling with fatigue mastered the night shift
A senior ICU nurse working exclusively night shifts was struggling to recover between shifts. Her young family needed her energy during the day, but her body was still running on night shift rhythms and couldn’t give it. Fatigue was accumulating and sustainability felt impossible.
